Our Development Process
The FranSource development process begins when we commence discussing a franchise expansion program with a prospective client. To further our understanding of the concept, we complete due diligence that includes evaluating the proposed franchise model and researching similar franchise opportunities to determine their structure, growth, and various terms of the franchise offering. This is completed without cost or obligation to the company as it allows us to determine whether we believe the company should undertake a franchise development program.
FranSource is not a “franchise mill.” We choose to work with a limited number of companies each year to provide the highest level of service possible, so it is important that we work with those that best meet the following criteria:
- The concept is one that we believe is well suited for franchising.
- The current company location(s) is operating successfully and profitably.
- Operational systems and procedures have been developed that can be duplicated by franchisees.
- The company is qualified to provide the level of training and ongoing support required of most franchise concepts.
- The relationship between FranSource and the company will be enjoyable and rewarding for both parties. We discuss with prospective clients our belief in the importance of their “liking” whomever they select to assist them in developing their franchise operation - because to do the job properly, they will get to know them very well!
